I was born in Sevilla, Spain and left for London at a very young age. It is here where I grew up and studied. As a boy I was always obsessed with drawing and playing Nintendo games. It was this passion for Nintendo that inspired me to set my lifes goal off becoming the best games designer the world has ever seen. My style off work and way of thinking has been greatly inspired by japanese art and culture. I speak Spanish, English and I'm currently learning Japanese. I love chorizo, The Legend of Zelda, ice skating and the Burger King tripple Whopper. I'm a huge football fan and support F.C.Barcelona.

Until now my work experience has been quite varied. All my jobs have required me to use all my current skills and learn many new ones. This included learning new design techniques, modelling methods or programming languages. My aim now is to focus 100% on the games industry, which has always been my life's goal.
KAKUMEI STUDIOS LTD
GAMES DESIGNER, ANIMATOR
AUG 2014 - PRESENT
Lead game designer, creating game concepts and guiding the team through production. Storyboarding/directing and animating all in-game content using 3DS Max. All games are created in Unity 3D. Games have been created for Console, PC and Mobile. I created T.A.P. Run for Mobile which is out now and received good reviews. Most recent work is an unannounced game for Nintendo Wii U and PC

MAY 2012 - MAY 2013
My main role was to develop the games using Unity3D. I'd do this using javascript and also some C#. My other tasks involved a lot of 3d modelling and animation with 3D studio Max. The animation work included rigging and skinning again in 3D Studio Max.
THE MINIMART

All of my work at the Minimart was web content. I would assist in building web sites, email campaigns, icon animations, banner campaigns and games on the web or facebook canvas. All web work would use HTML5, CSS and javascript. For the banners I would use Flash and the games were either HTML5 canvas or Construct2.
ADAPTIVE AFFINITY

At Adaptive I worked as an assistant in web developing and was incharge of all design work. I would design web sites, update current web sites, design banners and emails. All design work was done in Photoshop and Illustrator. Web development was done using HTML and CSS.

This job was a contract job to create a competition game for the Hertz website. I worked alone in designing and building the game from scratch in Flash AS3. All assest were designed in photoshop and illustrator.

PROCESS

I stick to my process the same way on every project. In my opinion it is vital to stick to these key points if you are to create a successful project. With a clear plan at the start of any project, everyone in the team will find it much easier to understand what they have to do, why they are doing it and where they are going with it.

I gained all my education in London from primary school through to university. I spent many years after school gaining knowledge in game design, animation and 3D art. I was always clear of what I loved doing most and where my strengths were.

My BA involved making game prototypes and later creating a full game containing missions and objectives. The games would also contain fully textured and animated characters and fully playable levels. For the graduation show, my game was selected as game of show by Gavin Russell of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. I graduated and achieved a 2.1.
SEP 2006 - JUNE 2007
Working with 3DS Max and Photoshop we were required to create both high and low polygon models for both game environments and short animations. I learned the skills to unwrap and texture models, rig and skin characters and create particle effects.
